Seasus sweeps up 3 Awards at the first edition of the Malta Communications Authority eBusiness Awards.

Following a very productive and challenging year, our company is proud to have been recognised as leader in the field of eBusiness at the very first edition of the MCA eBiz Awards.

It was an honour for Managing Director Kenneth Bone to receive not one, but three awards. “We would like to thank the MCA for this laudable initiative supporting the local industry and are honoured to have received such a recognition for our work in eBusiness and particularly social media. These awards are a strong encouragement for us to continue with our research and innovation programmes in 2012.”

During the awards night, Seasus was nominated winner in three categories out of seven:

Winner in the Category Best Use of Online Media

PropertyBook is an innovative Facebook application that allows members to promote their property for sale on the world’s largest social network.

The application primarily addresses the requirements of real estate agents in automating their process of marketing available properties on Facebook. PropertyBook offers advanced connectivity functionality, by retrieving available properties directly from the agents’ database.

The application also allows for individuals to upload their own properties and promote them with their circle of friends through a concept of ‘virtual neighbours’.

PropertyBook leverages on Facebook’s viral marketing functionality enabling sellers to promote their property by sharing them on their profile and inviting friends in on their house hunt.

On the other hand, buyers are pampered with functionality of advanced features including bookmarking, wish lists and intuitive property search methods.

Winner in the Category Best Indigenous Enterprise of the Year

Following over a decade of growth in the industry and a well carved market position, 2009 saw Seasus pioneering the local field of corporate social media marketing, merging powerful web development technologies and innovative viral marketing concepts.
