Seasus has deployed the course catalogue and enrolment platform behind ohsa.mt/courses, giving Malta's Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA) a Moodle-based system for publishing and running its training programme.
OHSA runs a wide range of courses for employers and workers across sectors, from general OHS awareness and sector-specific follow-on sessions to manual handling, risk assessment, workplace mental health first aid and the statutory training required of workers' health and safety representatives. Each course needs its own schedule, capacity, language and delivery format, whether run online, in person at OHSA's premises, or at a participating organisation's own site.
The platform built on Moodle gives OHSA a single place to publish that catalogue: each course listing carries its description, target audience, class capacity, language, start and end dates, delivery type and remaining seats, with visitors able to filter by type and enrol directly online. Behind the scenes, OHSA's own staff manage the course calendar and content without needing developer support for every new session or sector-specific variant.
By building on Moodle rather than a bespoke booking system, Seasus gave OHSA a platform that's proven at handling exactly this kind of structured, course-based delivery, while keeping the catalogue itself fully under OHSA's control as its training offering continues to grow.
