Seasus is the technology provider behind ADaaS, Ataria's (www.ataria.mt) Autonomous Drone-as-a-Service platform, building the digital systems that let clients request a drone mission and have Ataria handle the aircraft, automation, authorisations, connectivity and data end-to-end.
ADaaS is built around a simple idea: an organisation that needs aerial capability, for inspection, monitoring, deliveries or rapid response, shouldn't have to buy aircraft, hire pilots or navigate aviation regulation itself. Instead, a mission (scheduled or immediate) is requested through Ataria's digital platform, and Ataria operates it as an ongoing service.
Seasus designed and built that platform: the client-facing interface for requesting and tracking missions, the backend systems coordinating aircraft, flight data and connectivity across Ataria's operations, and the security layer protecting client data and flight records. The result is a single, consistent digital experience across the wide range of use cases ADaaS covers, from agricultural and maritime monitoring to construction inspection and emergency response.
As Ataria's operations have grown to include scheduled flight hubs and regulated services such as the inter-island medical drone link between Mater Dei Hospital and Gozo General Hospital, the demands on the underlying platform, in uptime, data integrity and security, have grown with them. Seasus continues to maintain and extend the ADaaS platform alongside Ataria as new use cases and flight hubs come online.
