Seasus has delivered a new business operations platform for GreenPak Coop Society Ltd., live at www.greenpak.com.mt, replacing an older web system with an integrated platform that connects member companies, declarations and payments directly with GreenPak's Odoo back office.
GreenPak's previous platform had served the organisation well but, like many systems built up over years, relied on a fair amount of manual intervention to keep company records, declarations and payments in sync with its accounting system. As GreenPak transitioned its accounting from Sage to Odoo, that gap became the natural point to address: the new platform integrates with Odoo via API, with Odoo acting as the single source of truth for company and transaction data rather than information being maintained in two places at once.
On the back office side, the platform covers the day-to-day running of a membership-based compliance scheme: administrator and role-based user management, member company records across GreenPak's WEEE, Batteries and Packaging membership types, declaration templates that can be published and completed by member companies, and the full payment cycle, from payment requests through to transactions and credit notes, with reporting across companies, declarations and transactions throughout.
The public-facing side was rebuilt on Drupal with a modern, responsive interface, built to WCAG accessibility guidelines and GDPR requirements, and designed to carry GreenPak's existing content and structure forward with better usability and search visibility rather than starting from a blank page.
The result is a platform built to cut down on manual data handling at every step, from how a member company submits a declaration through to how that declaration eventually becomes a payment reflected in GreenPak's accounts.
