The unveiling was made on the occasion of the last 100 days remaining from the official introduction of the Euro currency in Malta on the 1st of January 2008.

The new web site is designed around the new NECC visual branding, which was also firstly revealed on the same event marking the final stage of the information and communcation campaign aimed at infoming and educating the Maltese public about the currecy change.

The content is provided in English or Maltese and provides all information about the changeover, ranging from search facilities for businesses affiliated in the FAIR scheme to useful facts about the Euro.

The site also provides various interactive features such as Online Chat facilities, Euro/Lm converters, downloads and business services.

Seasus was commission earlier in 2007 by the NECC to design and develop this web site with usability and accessibility as the primary focus points of the project.

The site is also completely managed internally by NECC staff using the Seasus eBridge Web Site Management Framework.
