Another good reason to give

Seasus' CSR helps creation of RTK4Charity

We are proud to announce ourselves as one of three local companies who have founded RTK4Charity, a Donation Application on Facebook with the purpose of collecting funds by means of the world's largest online community in order to support campaigns by Maltese charitable institutions.

The tri-partite agreement was formed together with RTK Limited and 3a Accountants, each bringing together their core strengths to help raise funds for good causes. All three companies handling this project are dedicating their time towards this initiative as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility. Whilst RTK Limited is the initiator and official promoter of this project, 3a Accountants will oversee the funds and offer auditing for transparency, to guarantee that all donations go straight to the charities listed. Our responsibility is of course that of offering the latest web technology within a secure environment for peace of mind when donating online. That is where our PCI Certification comes in handy for payment processing services !

The official launch of this project was held during a breakfast press conference on 25th May 2011 at the Radisson Blu, St. Julians. During his presentation, Mr. Kenneth Bone, Managing Director, explained to those present about the beauty of social media today, and how it can serve a social purpose. “We strongly believe in exploiting the possibilities in social media for a noble cause, mainly because of the vast audience local and international, and also because of the power of viral marketing, whereby the users of the app can be promoters of this initiative. Anyone can contribute with a social responsibility attitude”. Continued Mr. Bone, “The app has been developed to the latest technology standards, and users can rest assured that online donations are processed in the highest of security measures, just like any other e-commerce site available on the internet”.

About the RTK4Charity App: similar to the application we had developed for L-Istrina 2010 last December, which was a huge success, the RTK4Charity app gives the opportunity to all those wishing to raise funds, or donate money, to become part of an online community and help each other for truly noble causes. Have a look at the app by visiting www.rtk4charity.org and …

… happy donating!
