Seasus' Corporate Social Responsibility for L-Istrina 2010
This year all those with a Facebook account have a very original way of donating money to L-Istrina, thanks to Seasus, Malta's Leading Internet Technologies Provider.
All of us have donated time from our holidays to develop a unique Facebook application for L-Istrina, that enables all members to make their donation online with their debit or credit cards in a secure environment.
This one-of-a-kind application is linked to L-Istrina’s Official Facebook Page which currently holds a staggering 10,000 members thanks to a young gentleman, Glen Chircop Galea who had founded this page over a year ago thanks to his enthusiasm and dedication towards this fundraising activity.
This year L-Istrina – F’Idejk has been chosen by the Malta Community Chest Fund as L-Istrina’s Official Page on Facebook, the world’s largest social network.
Facebook members are encouraged to contribute with a donation of €7, €10 or €20 by visiting the application on Facebook, by searching L-Istrina - F’Idejk, LIKE the page and follow the links; or by directly accessing the application at http://apps.facebook.com/l-istrina.
The application was entirely initiated, developed and sponsored by Seasus Limited and Property Book for The Malta Community Chest Fund as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, and will remain active for donations until 6th January 2010.
