PECOM deploys BlueFile Pest Control Management System

This system, developed by Seasus, provides pest monitoring units, software and handheld solutions for large and medium-sized, pest management companies or directly to the food and pharmaceuticals industry.

These units and solutions are completely wireless and connect to a central server that is web-based and enables anywhere, anytime access. Units integrate seamlessly with Blue File, PECO's enterprise-level solution that generates data and predetermined intelligence for the controlled area and pest activity within.

BlueFile is an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) solution designed and built to cater for all aspects of your business needs and runs on any industry standard platform or handheld. It integrates into HACCP, ISO or any other quality management system and comprehensively addresses all standards laid out in the National Pest Control Standards for Malta issued by the Malta Standards Authority.

BlueFile reports are delivered electronically, allowing system users to log-on to a secure site and download a complete mapped history of pest control records including:

Pest management audits

Site plans

Pest sighting reports

Pest incidence logs

Chemical usage records

Technical reports

Pest incidence history

Othe system also supports:

Track pest & rodent activity throughout the facility, by type, evidence, time and quantity.

Track missed locations that were not scanned during any inspection period and any damage/maintenance to the units or monitored area.

Track components (bait used, glue boards, protective guards, pheromone lures, bulbs, etc.) replaced during an inspection or any specified time period.

Look at historical trends and assignments of pest & rodent activity in different areas of the facility or at a specific device location.

Graph pest & rodent activity by a specific device location or area of the facility.

Provide record keeping

All information collected is available in several different types of reports and graphs. Real time reports, comparisons, and graphs can be selected for any specified time frame.

Sanitation and maintenance issues (IPM at its best!)

Track all issues as requested by AIB, USDA, or the Client that would be conducive to pest activity or grow.

With the new Pocket PC Windows CE devices you can even capture images of these problems and report issues to the proper department heads for disposition.

All information is collected by use of a portable scanner, or Windows CE Pocket PC Device. Date and time stamps are recorded for each location inspected or pesticide dispersed.

Be assured that all device locations have been inspected or validate reasons for why not.

All devices and locations are accounted for, as agreed upon by SPC Contracts and HACCP Guidelines and SSOP.

You will have the ability to transmit inspection results and data to regional and corporate offices via modem and by the Internet.

All of your clients can have access to the results of every inspection. This will allow for quick access to data and corrective actions for AIB, USDA, and other inspection agencies.

Ability to export results and data to a file or to the windows clipboard, to be used with other windows based programs.
