Exceeding your Clients' Expectations

Probably it's the Facebook platform that mostly allows us to showcase our variety of work.  
 
Although you might think that a free business page coupled with a few adverts every new campaign might do the trick for your sales targets, think again - is it really the number of Likes on your page that matters most to your activity? We think marketing rules, and one of the fundamentals is to exceed your clients' expectations and going the extra mile for them. It happens on social media too. Being creative and changing your goalposts from time to time is the way to keep your 1,000 or 1,000,000 Likes coming.  
 
In this area we have been the very first Maltese company to have launched an interactive application on Facebook, way back in 2009. Before then, most local businesses did not venture far and limited their online exposure to a basic business page with a few updates a week. Let's be honest, without the possibility of targeting your virtual clients by gender, age, or any other filtering possibility, your Likes can only render so much.  
 
With the introduction of Facebook apps, we gave these businesses the opportunity to go a step further, and not only make their clients happy, but also getting more return from social media than their competitors. A tangible return could be anything, from an email address, to an ID Card, to any other personal information the user accepts to pass on., and today, we know the real importance of CRM systems to serious companies. 
 
Going back to our origins in the development of apps, our very first project was for a noble cause, and it happened in a very short time at the most busy of all seasons - Christmas Time; we're talking of L-Istrina, an annual Maltese charity activity aired on TV every Boxing Day for no less than 12 hours straight. The year was 2009, and we were implementing our CSR Programme, looking to marry our technical skills and an important social activity. The asssociation between a Facebook app and L-Istrina (which by the way is an initiative of the Malta Community Chest Fund, a charitable institution chaired by The President of Malta) was immediate. We offered to help in their Facebook presence, and eventually launched the successful donation app, merging together our design and development skills with our payment processing licence.
